Born Linda Krisine Wake Liina Kristina Herätä 01/04/1960 in Porvoo, Finland, not much is known about her upbringing in the small town, having moved to the United States in 1974 with her parents at the age of fourteen to achieve a better education and life.She won't talk about her parents, having left school at the age of fifteen, no qualifications to her name, she hitchhiked to New York from Florida to enjoy the new age of freedom for young people - that's where she met [REDACTED] and [REDACTED.]Linda worked two jobs, one as a store clerk and one unofficially for the FBC - Federal Bureau of Control - as a cleaner for the offices. At some point during 1976 she fell pregnant with Alan Wake. His D.O.B has been redacted from all documents on behest of his mother.Just before Alan was born, Linda was diagnosed with Schizophrenia but she refused to acknowledge this and was refusing medications as well as therapy to help aid her in her struggles as a single parent. In 1977 Alan was born and in 1978, Linda left New York without a word to her friends for an undisclosed location in Arizona.Linda was somewhat able to function until 1982 when her delusions became too much and she was first administered into hospital.Everything up until 1990 has been redacted from official documents as Linda Wake was supposed to have died that year, only leaving a hospital room full of blood and sinew.CLICK THE BOX BELOW FOR SPOILERS.
